    Goddess

I had a very surprising but positive experience tonight, and I thought I would share.

I was playing on a game site and there was a young woman who had just learned she had stage 3 breast cancer. My heart immediately went out to her. I told her I would pray to the Goddess on her behalf if she would like. She asked me what I meant, so I explained. The room was instantly silent. After a Minute a player who was there also a pastor at a Christian church spoke up and here is what he said....

" Kista that is wonderful of you, all prayers count. It is not our place to peer into others souls, your path is the one that feels right for you."

Again a few moments of silence, and then chat returned to what it was and a few even asked me some questions. The woman who is ill, announced she was going to bed, and as she was leaving...."Thank you everyone for your thoughts and support...and Kista I don't know your Goddess, but please ask for her blessings."

So that was my warm fuzzy for the day. As I said I just thought I would share.

    Warmest Blessings to all.

aren't beautiful moments of serendipity like that one of the things that make you really cherish your path? Will send my own prayers on her behalf as well,

Thanks. Nice to hear that all Christians aren't intolerant. That restored my faith in human nature a little.

Isn't it wonderful to have a moment like that? To know that there truly are others out there that can respect ones beliefs. It gives me hope that someday their tolerance will be shared and spread by those that can accept our and other paths.
I also have dealt with breast cancer. It is devastating news, and can really scare the crap out of you. Mine wasn't stage 3, but was in such a place that I chose to remove my breast. In doing so, I didn't have to put chemicals into my body, and I am cured. I have been there, so I know that prayers are needed and are such a comfort.
    Blessings to you sister,
