Ok I know most of you have probably heard of this book, but still I think it's worth a mention. This book is so chock full of info and practical advice. It is by far the most comprehensive book I have come across so far.
The Complete Idiot's Guide to Wicca and Witchcraft, 3rd Edition by Denise Zimmermann and Katherine A. Gleason
I had checked it out from the library and then went to Barnes and Noble to purchase it. I also purchased a ledger for my BOS and a divination set.
Being new to Wicca, I am reading almost everything I can get my hands on, and this book is one I will have use of again and again.
Also I thought I would share this link. We all know how expensive oils are, but this site provides you with instructions for making your own.
The very first book I ever read on Wicca was "Earth Magic" by Scott Cunningham;even though I've been in the Craft for 25 years, I never stop learning from Scott. You might also enjoy "Witchcrafting" by Phyllis Curott, most anything by Ellen Dugan, Christopher Penczak, or Silver Raven Wolf.
They have simple writing styles and are easy to understand.
Merry Meet Kista,
You are always welcome on my site. Thanks for getting in touch with me and feel free to do so at any time. I, too, have "The Idiot's Guide to Wicca" and have found it very useful over the years. You may also want to get Scott Cunningham's seminal book "Wicca: A Guide For the Solitary Practitioner".
May the Goddess infuse your path with light, and may your journey be full of adventures.
Blessed Be,
Moonblossom
Great, Thanks for the info............I am very new at this and every little bit helps.
