I had a very surprising but positive experience tonight, and I thought I would share.
I was playing on a game site and there was a young woman who had just learned she had stage 3 breast cancer. My heart immediately went out to her. I told her I would pray to the Goddess on her behalf if she would like. She asked me what I meant, so I explained. The room was instantly silent. After a Minute a player who was there also a pastor at a Christian church spoke up and here is what he said....
" Kista that is wonderful of you, all prayers count. It is not our place to peer into others souls, your path is the one that feels right for you."
Again a few moments of silence, and then chat returned to what it was and a few even asked me some questions. The woman who is ill, announced she was going to bed, and as she was leaving...."Thank you everyone for your thoughts and support...and Kista I don't know your Goddess, but please ask for her blessings."
So that was my warm fuzzy for the day. As I said I just thought I would share.

"A collision with a tractor-trailer seven years ago left 52-year-old Deborah Shank permanently brain-damaged and in a wheelchair. Her husband, Jim, and three sons found a small source of solace: a $700,000 accident settlement from the trucking company involved.
After legal fees and other expenses, the remaining $417,000 was put in a special trust. It was to be used for Deborah Shank's care.
Instead, all of it is now slated to go to Deborah's former employer, Wal-Mart Stores.
Two years ago, the retail giant's health plan sued the Shanks for the $470,000 it had spent on her medical care. A federal judge ruled last year in Wal-Mart's favor, backed by an appeals-court decision in August. Now, Deborah's family has to rely on Medicaid and her Social Security payments to keep up her round-the-clock care."
Blessed Be, The Goddess has saved this poor woman.
Saudi King Pardons Rape Victim AP Posted: 2007-12-17 10:33:15 Filed Under: World News
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (Dec. 17) - "Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah has pardoned a female rape victim who had been sentenced to 200 lashes for being alone with a man at the time of the attack who was not related to her, a Saudi newspaper reported Monday.
The case had sparked international outcry. In a rare criticism of its Mideast ally, the White House had expressed its "astonishment" over the woman's sentence. Canada called it barbaric."
